BURNETT, Lorne Glenwood - Veteran of WWII serving with the Royal Canadian Navy & long standing member and supporter of the Royal Canadian Legion. At the Peterborough Regional Health Centre on Tuesday, February 3, 2009. Lorne Burnett of Peterborough in his 84th year. Husband of Dorothy (nee Young) and dear father of Paula (Bryan Huhtala) of Peterborough and Mitchel (Sharon) of Orillia. Loving grandfather of Bren (Becky) of Elmira, Brad of Lindsay, and Jacquie, Daniel and Kevin of Orillia. Brother of June (John Klose), Bea Robinson and the late Aubrey, Gord, Charles and Lloyd. Brother-in-law to the late Elwood Robinson. A Private Family Memorial will be held in the spring.
