TAYLOR, Denis Andrew - Passed away quietly on Wednesday January 14th, 2009. He was born January 29th, 1918 in London England. Denis was a dedicated father, loving grandfather, World War 2 veteran, retired Bell Canada employee and Boy Scout Leader. He was a sincere, honourable and proud man. Denis was the beloved husband of Margaret (Deceased). Loved dearly by and loving father of daughter Denise, son, Steven and daughter in-law, Lori, grandchildren Andrew and Cathryn. Denis will also be greatly missed by his care givers at Regency Manor Nursing home in Port Hope, where he spent the last 7 years of his life. He received much love, excellent care and unwavering support from the staff. Denis's family would like to give a very special thanks and appreciation to everyone at Regency Manor for this special attention. Denis enjoyed his time there very much. Following cremation, a church service will be held at Our Lady of Mercy in Port Hope on Thursday January 22 at 11 a.m. Denis would wish that any memorial gifts be directed to your local Humane Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation.
