KOTA, Mabel - of Port Colborne died peacefully on Friday January 16, 2009 at the Port Colborne General Hospital, one day shy of her 88th birthday. Beloved wife of the late John Kota, loving mother of Marlene (Howard) Elliott, Wendy (Clarence) Kota and Robert (Clara) Kota, dear Grandma of Bruce (Joanne) Weegar and the late Brent Weegar. She will be fondly remembered by many family members and friends. Cremation has taken place. The Kota family will receive visitors at the PORT COLBORNE CHAPEL of the DAVIDSON FUNERAL HOMES, 135 Clarence St. on Friday January 23, 2009 from 12:00p.m. until 1:00p.m. when a memorial service will be held in the chapel.
