John Frank Stephen FABIAN

FABIAN, John Frank Stephen - Suddenly and peacefully passed away at the Greater Niagara General Hospital on Tuesday, January 20, 2009 at the age of 85 years. Cherished husband of Margaret. He is preceded in death by his beloved daughter Sharon Irene (Fabian) Grieve (Oct. 4, 1943 - Jan. 29, 2002), sister Vivian Laurie and his parents Peter and Anna Fabian. Sadly missed by his beloved daughter, Janet Boyton, Rhuddlan, North Wales and husband David, his 5 grandchildren, Tyler, Natalie, Andrew, Jamie and Simon and 9 great-grandchildren. John will be sadly missed by his siblings, Mary Morocco and the late Angelo Morocco, Ernie Fabian and his wife Angie, Jeannette Fabian and Ronald Fabian. He leaves behind and will be greatly missed by his beloved stepson Sean Graham and his wife Jody and step- grandson, Ryan. He will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews who brought such joy to his life. Friends are invited to visit at HETHERINGTON AND DEANS FUNERAL CHAPEL (905-354-5614) on Friday from 2-4 & 7-9. The funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Church on Victoria Ave. Saturday, January 24th, 2009 at 2 p.m. John will be laid to rest in a private family ceremony at the National Military Cemetery of Canada (in Beechwood Cemetery) in Ottawa. John was very proud to serve his country during WWII with the Royal Winnipeg Rifles and with the First Canadian Armoured Carrier Division.
