MURRAY, Dorothy Alice (nee Worden) (Mum Murray) - Passed away in her 97th year on Tuesday, January 20th, 2009 at her home. Beloved daughter of the late John and Nellie Worden (nee Knight). Beloved sister of the late David Worden. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Murray. Beloved mother of Wayne Murray, Hockley Valley. Sunday school teacher at Eglington United Church, north Toronto, resident of Islington, Port Credit, Oakville, Alcona Beach and Hockley Valley. Mum and Dad Murray were well known dancers at Savanah Lodge and Cozy Corner for 15 years. Mum Murray wrote short stories about her life. Visitation will be held at the W. JOHN THOMAS FUNERAL HOME, 244 Victoria Street East, Alliston from 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday January 21st. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel at 11 a.m. on Thursday January 22nd, 2009.
