RISING, James Gerald - Passed away at the Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on Friday January 23, 2009 in his 61st year, after a courageous 3 year battle with cancer. Cherished life partner of Ruth Noland-Flores. Dear brother of Joanie and her husband Bob White of St. Petersburg, Florida, Bill and his wife Leslie of Midhurst, and Steve of Niagara Falls. Loving uncle of Mitchell Rising, Holly Newsome, Joe Lyons- Rising, and Jamie White. Jamie enjoyed life, loved his friends, and stayed in the game to the end. Friends may gather at Central United Church, 15 Ross St. (at Toronto St) in Barrie, on Wednesday January 28, 2009 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the Funeral Service at 2:00 p.m. Interment at a later date at St. Thomas Cemetery Shanty Bay.
