WATSON, Stanley Edward - June 2, 1922 - January 28, 2009 (Veteran WWII, Sgt. Irish Regiment of Canada, Life Member of Corinthian Lodge AF & AM # 96 Barrie, Member of RCL Branch # 147 Barrie, Member Probus Club and Veteran's Club of Barrie) - Peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital, Barrie, on Wednesday, January 28th, 2009. Stanley Watson, beloved husband of Marguerite Bulman for 60 years. Dear father of Steve & Linda and Ron & Nancy. Loved by his grandchildren Derek & Zoe and Michelle & KC. Proud great grandfather to William. Loved by his sisters Hilda Knowles, Kathleen Baldwick, Jean Van Natter and Esther Long. Also by his brothers Texas Watson, Peter Watson and the late Malcolm Watson. Fondly remembered by his nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. We will miss him dearly. The family will receive friends at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME, 30 Worsley Street, Barrie (705) 721- 9921, on Sunday, February 1st from 2-4 and 7-9 PM and on Monday February 2nd from 10 AM until the time of service at 11 o'clock.
