HERMAN, Robert (Bob) - (Served 29 years with the Department of National Defense RCR/Signals) - At Royal Victoria Hospital Barrie on Wednesday, January 28th, 2009. Bob Herman of Thornton in his 76th year. Dearly beloved husband of the late Bettie Herman. Dear father of Scott Herman and Randy McDowell. Dear grandfather of Ian and Emma. Brother of Howard, Phil, David, Mildred, Gertie and Wilma. Predeceased by Victor, Lee and Bernice. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Private cremation was held. A Memorial Gathering will be held at the PAUL F. KENT FUNERAL HOME (Hwy. 27 north) Cookstown on Wednesday February 4th, 2009 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family. 11400510
