Rena Laverne HOUTBY

ROBERTSON, Rena Laverne (nee Houtby) - April 6, 1923 ~ January 27, 2009. Peacefully at home with her family by her side in her 86th year. Predeceased by her loving husband Cameron (2007). Devoted mother of Lee Robertson (Donna). Survived by her sister Margaret Livingston (the late John), sister Audrey Ryan (Edward) and sister-in-law Barbara Houtby (the late Albert). Predeceased by her son Kenneth (1988). Rena will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Many thanks to Dr. Sandra Hartman and her staff, CCAC, Para Med and all the home care providers for all their care and compassion. Special thanks to sister-in-law Barbara and sisters Margaret and Audrey, you are true angels. At Rene's request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held on Monday, February 2, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of BUTLER FUNERAL HOME (33 Duke St., St. Catharines 905- 684-2334).
