Ingeborg Maria Linnea HAKANSON

HALVERSON, Ingeborg 2009-02-13 Mrs. Ingeborg Maria Linnea Halverson, age 94 years, passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Hospital on Sunday, February 8, 2009. Ingeborg (Hakanson) was born in Norman, Ontario on June 15, 1914 and moved to Fort Frances in 1920. Married to her beloved husband Anton (Speed) in 1937, they were residents of Thunder Bay from 1945. Ingeborg was predeceased by her husband Anton in 1981 and her brother Ernie Hakanson in 1994. She is survived by her son Glenn (Deborah), and three granddaughters, Janet (Nick) Weldon, Kathryn (Curtis) Hildebrandt, and Caren Halverson (Jeffrey), sisters-in-law Lillian and Dorothy, brother-in-law Chuck (Edna), and cousins, nieces and nephews in Thunder Bay, Fort Frances, Kenora, The Pas, and International Falls including her beloved niece, Nancy. Her family and friends will miss Ingeborg dearly. Special thanks from the family to Dr. Michael Adams for his care and compassion over many years.
