Cecile P. AUDETTE

Fall River -- CECILE P. (AUDETTE) MASSE, 86, of Kilburn Street, died Thursday at Highlander Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.She was the wife of Alvin L. Masse. They had been married for 59 years. A lifelong resident of Fall River, the daughter of the late Desire and Delia (Marquis) Audette, she was a summer resident of Cedar Avenue, Portsmouth. She was an active member of Good Shepherd Parish.Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Carol A. Lapointe of Fall River; a son, Paul A. Masse of Portsmouth; a sister, Doris Mello of Lynn, Mass.; four granddaughters and a great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews. She was a sister of the late Liane, Emile, Bert and Dr. Gerald Audette, Alda Vaillancourt, Simone Lucas, Fernande Crane and Yvette Roberge.Following cremation, a memorial Mass will be celebrated Jan. 22 in Good Shepard Church, 1598 South Main St.
