LAFAYETTE - Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2005, at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for Earline Babino Stewart, 70, who died Sept. 14, 2005, at Lafayette General Medical Center. Entombment will be in Calvary Cemetery.She was born in Opelousas, La. on Sept. 5, 1935.In 1955 she moved to California where she resided for several years.She retired from the Los Angeles Unified School District and moved back to Louisiana in 1985.She is survived by one son, Ricky Weatherall, of Lafayette; three daughters, Leola Weatherall-Branch, of Los Angeles, Calif., Veronica Weatherall (Whitney) Babineaux, of Houston, Texas and Vivian Morgan (Jerry) Duhon, of San Diego, Calif.; six grandchildren, Brittany, Chason, Kendall, Summer, Christian and Torionna; her brother, Retell (Leona) Babino, of Lafayette; and loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Steward; her son, Raffael Weatherall; parents, Harry Babino and Leola Glaude-Babino; and two sisters, Ethel Babino and Geneva Bertrand.Visitation will be held Tuesday, Sept. 20, 2005, at Syrie Funeral Home beginning at 7 a.m. until time of services.Syrie Funeral Home, Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
