Ayotte, Wanda J. -- Mentor, Ohio (formerly Bay City)-- Wanda J. Ayotte, age 84 years, died Friday, March 11, 2005 in Mentor, Ohio. She was born July 16, 1920 in Bay City where she was a life long resident before moving to Mentor, Ohio three years ago. The former Wanda J. Bassett was married to Kenneth R. Ayotte who preceded her in death in 1994 after 49 years of marriage. She was also predeceased by three brothers and three sisters. She is survived by two sons: Kenneth V. (Lore) Ayotte, Thomas E. Ayotte; her daughter, Catherine (Craig) McGinnis; three grandchildren: Kevin Ayotte, Jason and Jaime McGinnis, many nieces and nephews, and her dearest friend, Paula Ayotte. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 14, 2005 at 7:30 p.m. in the W. A. Trahan Funeral Chapel. Rev. Dale A. Orlik will preside and entombment will take place on Tuesday in St. Patrick Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 5786 Heisley Rd., Mentor, OH 44060.
