Carol Ann BECKER

SPRINGFIELD - Carol Ann (Becker) Monette, 58, of Springfield, passed away August 24, at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Worcester, she was a longtime resident of Springfield. Carol was a LPN for 12 years at the Connecticut Correctional Facility (Osborne) in Enfield, CT. She was a strong woman who fought a 3 year battle with cancer and had a strong love for life, family, her best friend carol, and many others. She also loved her many cats and was also an avid gardener. Besides her many friends, Carol is survived by her Father, Arthur A. Becker and her beloved sister, Linda J. Blood, both of East Longmeadow. She was predeceased by her Mother Minnie (Siciliano) Becker in 2001. Carol's funeral service will be held on Monday at 10 a.m. in Hafey East Longmeadow Chapels, 120 Shaker Rd., followed by burial in Greenlawn Cemetery in East Longmeadow. Calling hours will be held on Sunday from 4 -7 p.m. in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Carol's name to any animal organization of ones choice.
