Hazel R. BELLARD

KINDER -Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 29, 2005, at St. Philip Neri Catholic Church for Mrs. Hazel R. Bellard, 88. The Rev. Carlos Garcia will officiate.Interment will be in St. Paul Cemetery in Elton under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home of Kinder.Visitation was observed from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Sunday and will continue from 8 a.m. today until time of services.A rosary was recited at 7 p.m. Sunday.Mrs. Bellard was a resident of Port Arthur, but lived most of her life in Kinder and was a member of the Catholic Daughters. She died at 10:25 a.m. Saturday in Port Arthur.Survivors include one daughter, Minnie and husband, Wilbert Doucet, of Groves, Texas; two sisters, Mary Fuselier, of Rayne and Belle Fuselier, of Branch; six grandchildren, Rhonda L. Johnson and husband, Kirk, of Iowa, Brent Lejeune and wife, Leslie, of Moss Bluff, Sandra R. Henry and husband, Pete, of Junction City, Monica Rawlings, of LeBlanc, Troy Rawlings, of Kinder, and Gerald Rawlings Jr., of LeBlanc; and eight great-grandchildren.Mrs. Bellard is preceded in death by her husband, Octave Bellard and one daughter, Gloria Rawlings.
