Marcel BENOIT

Marcel Benoit, 77, a native of Des Allemands and resident of Choctaw, died Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2005. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. today at St. James Chapel in Choctaw, with burial in the church cemetery. He is survived by one son, Chuckie Benoit; and two daughters, Priscilla Tabor and Jennifer Benoit. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lena Delatte Benoit; his parents, Pierre and Louisiane Thibodaux Benoit; one son, Gary Benoit; five brothers, Antoine Sr., Nelson, Edison, Sidney and Emile Benoit; and four sisters, Eva Cortez, Azema Benoit, Antoinette B. Pitre and Victoria Benoit.
