LINCOLN — Rita Eugenie Benoit Adams, 79, died Nov. 15, 2005, at Cold Spring Home Care in Lincoln, with heart disease.She was born April 17, 1926, in Randolph, the daughter of Eugene P. Benoit and Wilhelmina Houle.She married Wayne F. Adams on Sept. 2, 1944. He predeceased her in 2002.Mrs. Adams enjoyed her Thursday morning card group.Survivors include eight children, Dennis Adams of Caledonia, N.Y., Diane Orvis, Thomas Adams, Mark Adams, all of Starksboro, Janet Orvis of Lincoln, Laura Bouvier, Jean Bedard, both of Bristol, and Lee Butler of New Haven; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two sisters, Claire and Gwen.She was also predeceased by nine brothers and sisters.There will be no calling hours.The memorial Mass will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19, at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Bristol.Burial will be at a later date in Mount St. Joseph Cemetery in Bristol.Memorial contributions may be made to Weathervane Elderly Housing, Lincoln, VT 05443, and Addison County Home Health and Hospice, P.O.
