Caralee Marguerite BERTEAU

GAUTREAUX, CARALEE MARGUERITE A homemaker and resident of Donaldsonville, she was entrusted to God's care on Sunday, April 10, 2005, at her home in Donaldsonville. She was 79 and a native of Gonzales. Visiting at Ourso Funeral Home, Donaldsonville, from 9 a.m. Tuesday, April 12, until funeral service at noon, conducted by the Rev. Phil Spano. Interment in Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church Cemetery. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Anna and William Pregeant, Geismar, and Florence and Michael Montero, Paincourtville; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Gene and Harriet Humphrey, St. Amant, Eugene Gautreaux Jr., and Brent Gautreaux, both of Donaldsonville; sister, Freda Crawford, Gonzales; 15 precious grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and two godchildren, David LeBlanc, Gonzales, and Carolyn Acaldo, Galdez. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Gautreaux Sr.; parents, Edmond Berteau and Marie Braud Berteau; two daughters, Paula Winbourne and Portia Waguespack; two brothers, Whitmel Berteau and Marvin Berteau; and a sister, Bonnie Breaud. Pallbearers will be Brent Gautreaux, Zach Winbourne, Randy Folse, Phillip Humphrey, David LeBlanc and Gene Humphrey. Honorary pallbearers are Eugene Gautreaux Jr. and William Pregeant.
