Yvonne M. BERUBE

Yvonne M. (Berube) Bernard, 91, of Greenleaf St., Fall River, died Tuesday, March 15, 2005 at Kimwell Nursing Home. She was the wife of the late Louis O. Bernard. A lifelong resident of Fall River, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Arthemise (Rousseau) Berube. A member of Notre Dame Parish, she was a bookkeeper for the former Fashion Center Dress Manufacturing Co. Survivors include 2 sons, Lawrence L. Bernard and his wife May of Dataw Island, SC and Pierre R. Bernard and his wife Jacqueline of Fall River; a daughter, Claire A. Chace and her husband Perry of Tiverton; a sister, Mrs. Roger A. (Cecile) Chouinard of Tequesta, Florida; 5 grandchildren, Claire Young, Thomas Collard, Janelle Machado, Jeanne Allred and Nicole Bernard; 8 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Alice Lacroix, Charles and Albert Berube and Ann and Adrienne Chouinard. Her family and close personal friends are invited to attend the calling hours Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. and her funeral Saturday at 8:00 a.m. from the AUCLAIR FUNERAL HOME, 690 So. Main St., Fall River, with a funeral mass in Notre Dame Church at 9:00. Entombment, Notre Dame Cemetery Mausoleum. Large parking area and barrier-free entrance to the rear of funeral home.
