Elizabeth BESSETTE

ELIZABETH (BETTY) BESSETTE BURLINGTON — Elizabeth (Betty) Bessette, 73, died peacefully Monday, Jan. 31, 2005, in the Vermont Respite House in Williston. Betty was born Oct. 25, 1931, in Colchester, the daughter of the late Joseph D. and Mary Sweeney Bessette. She is survived by two sisters, Florence Wolcott of Milton and Helen Lavee of Colorado Springs, Colo.; two brothers, Edward Bessette of Colchester and Raymond Bessette of Plattsburgh, N.Y.; many nieces, nephews and several great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Robert, George and John Bessette; and two sisters, Isabelle Griffith and Hazel Raymond. There will be no funeral services and interment will be held in the spring. Memorial contributions may be made to the Vermont Respite House, 99 Allen Brook Lane, Williston, Vt. 05495. Arrangements are by the Minor Funeral Home of Milton.
