Mary Rose BIZETTE

Mary Rose Lemoine was born on July 29, 1925, and was a resident of New Roads and a native of Jarreau. Mrs. Lemoine passed away on Monday, July 18, 2005. She was 79 years young. A devoted wife and mother, Mrs. Lemoine worked hard to maintain the family business and to raise her children after the death of her husband. After her family was raised, she enjoyed retirement and looked forward to visits from her children and grandchildren. Mrs. Lemoine is survived by her two sons, Lance J. Lemoine Jr. and his wife, Cathy, Austin, Texas, and Michael P. Lemoine and his wife, Desiree, New Roads; three grandchildren, Mary Lemoine and Lance Rene Lemoine, both of Austin, and Lauren Lemoine, New Roads; two great-grandchildren, Brianna and Hagan, both of Austin; and a brother, Harry Bizette, Baton Rouge. Visitation was at Niland's Funeral Home, New Roads, on Tuesday, July 19, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation at St. Mary's Catholic Church, New Roads, on Wednesday, July 20, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m. Mrs. Lemoine was preceded in death by her parents, Isidore and Melinda Bizette; her beloved husband, Lance J. Lemoine Sr.; a daughter, Deborah Kay Lemoine; two grandchildren, Erin and Nathaniel Lemoine; two brothers, Beverly "Nat" Bizette and Joseph Loupe; and four sisters, Anna Johnson, Addie Bonaventure, Erminee David and Della "Noy" Aguillard. The family of Mrs. Lemoine would like to express a special thank you to Ms. Rosezina Griffin for all the time, love and tenderness shown to our mother over the years.
