Janet M. Jeffers, 90, Ashwaubenon, died Friday, Dec. 23, 2005. She was born September 14, 1915, to the late Wilbur and Rose (Bader) Boulet in Green Bay. On January 30, 1936, she married Reed Jeffers at St. John the Evangelist Church, Green Bay; he preceded her in death December 9, 1969. Janet was a lifetime member of St. John the Evangelist Church where she often volunteered and worked for a short time as the school secretary. She enjoyed knitting, playing bridge, cooking and baking and was known for being more concerned for others than for herself. Survivors include one daughter, Judy Jeffers; three sons and daughters-in-law, Jim (Terry) Jeffers; John (Karen) Jeffers; and Dennis (Cheryl) Jeffers; 13 grandchildren, Polly (Scott) Kimball; Dave (Dawn) Vande Hei; Andy Vande Hei; Marty Vande Hei; Emily (Charlie) Bauer; Tim Jeffers and his friend, Julie Schmidt; Steve (Keri) Jeffers; Toni (Steve) Gustafson; Steve Jeffers; Brian Jeffers; Kristina (Pat) Barrada; Jennifer (Fabian) Gamez; and Julie (Brian) Elfers; 14 great-grandchildren; one son-in-law, David Vande Hei; one sister, Margaret Mc Cann; one brother, Dr. Bill Boulet; and one sister-in-law, Dorothy Curran. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Rosemary Vande Hei; a son, Steven Jeffers; and three sisters, Aileen Bellin, Mary Hightman and Helen (Sr. Marie Theresa) Boulet. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 26, at St. John the Evangelist Church, 423 St. John Street, where the Mass of Christian Burial will take place at noon.
