Kathryn E. BOURGEOIS

Kathryn E. Wall, 86, of 716 Stanley St., Chippewa Falls, passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2005, at Sacred Heart Hospital, Eau Claire.Kathryn was born December 11, 1918, in Red Wing, Minn., the daughter of Gilbert and Catherine (Garmer) Bourgeois.The family moved to Chippewa Falls when she was 4 years old. She was a graduate of Chippewa Falls Senior High School.Kathryn married Howard Wall on September 5, 1937, in Stillwater, Minn. Howard preceded her in death in 1958.Over the years, she worked for Mason Shoe, St. Joseph’s Hospital, the school system, First National Bank, Farmers Union, and lastly for the Department of Vocational Rehabilitation in Eau Claire. After her retirement she did volunteer work for L.E. Phillips Rehabilitation Center in Chippewa Falls.She is survived by two sons, Thomas (Joanne) of Racine and James (Connie) of Madison; two daughters, Ann Springen and Jane Wall both of Chippewa Falls; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.Per Kathryn’s request, there was a private service with her family and friends. There will be no visitation or services.Memorials are preferred to the American Lung Association.Kathryn loved traveling, camping, reading, playing bridge and cooking.Horan Funeral Home is assisting the family.
