CATAHOULA - Graveside services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, July 29, 2005, at Our Lady of the Lake Cemetery for Donald Joseph Bourque, 71, who died Sunday, July 24, 2005, at MD Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas.Mr. Bourque was a native of St. Martinville and a resident of Houston, Texas.Mr. Bourque served in the U.S. Air Force, graduated with a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southwestern Louisiana and worked over 30 years at the Johnson Space Center.He is survived by his daughter, Donna Bourque Misthos and husband, Jim; grandchildren, Alex and Eleni Misthos; sisters, Emeline Johnson, Alma Vaughn and Dale Porrier; brother, Raleigh Bourque; dearest friend, Martha Trammel; and numerous other relatives and friends.He was preceded in death by his parents, Sevan and Felicie Bourque; brother, Dr. Lawles Bourque Sr.; and his sister, Beverly Bourque Vaughn.Visitation will be observed from 3 p.m. today until service time Friday at Evangeline Funeral Home in St. Martinville.Memorial donations may be made in his name to the MD Anderson Cancer Center.Evangeline Funeral Home of St. Martinville is in charge of arrangements.
