Boutin, Robert J. -- April 17, 2005 Robert J. Boutin, 80, of Janus Park Dr., Liverpool, died Sunday at home. He was born in Fulton, the son of George A. and Christina R. Crandall Boutin and lived in Syracuse all his life. He graduated at age 16 from Vocational High School. He re-tired October 13, 1978, from Lamson Corp., where he had been employed for 30 years. He was president of Local FLU # 21664 for 15 years. He was a communicant of St. Rose of Lima Church. Surviving are his wife, the former Gloria Hover, whom he married in February 1947; two children, Belle Williams of Atlanta, GA, and George Boutin of North Syracuse; three grandchildren, Amanda Williams of Georgia and Robert and James Boutin, both of North Syracuse; a great-grandson; and several cousins. Services will be Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at Fergerson Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Church, with entombment following in St. Mary's Resurrection Chapel Mausoleum. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home, 215 S. Main Street, North Syracuse.
