Gilbert BOVET

BOVET, Gilbert - The sole surviving child of Louis and Grace Bovet, and a grandchild of Antoine Borel, passed away early Saturday morning, June 4, 2005, at the age of 89. This followed his long battle with emphysema and congested heart failure. Gilbert was a graduate of Stanford University and Harvard Business School, and served in the Navy during WWII in the Pacific. He married Ann Johnson 46 years ago and lived in Hillsborough, CA. He was a 40-year general partner of the Borel Estate Company and a member for many years of the Burlingame Country Club. Ann and Gilbert traveled extensively and spent much of their time in their home in Gorgier, Switzerland. He is survived by his wife Ann; and his son Marc and wife, Britina Bovet; two grandchildren; his stepson Thomas Browner; and many nieces and nephews.
