Phyllis S. BRUSSEAU

BRUSSEAU, Phyllis S. -- Born on February 13, 1923 in Oakland, CA, she passed peacefully away on February 24, 2005 in Sacramento, CA with her family at her side. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Philip and sister Helen. Phyllis is survived by her loving sister Dorothy Lundin, devoted children Douglas Brusseau (Terrie), Donna Schmitt, and Denise Morris (Lynn), and grandchildren Leslie Norwood, Cherie Quinzon, Stephanie Recob, Bryan Diemer, Amy Abrams, Sarah Morris, and Jeffrey Morris. She was blessed with eight great grandchildren. Her legacy lives on through her beautiful artwork, her sense of humor, and her love of family, all of which she shared generously. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in her memory be made to: Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2425 Stockton Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95817. At her request, no funeral service will take place, but family and friends will join in a celebration of her life on Mother's Day 2005 at the home of Donna Schmitt.
