Wayne J. CARIVEAU

Cariveau, Wayne J. age 66, passed away on December 24, 2005. Beloved father, grandfather, brother. Preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 26 years, Shirley (nee Schuler) and his son, Wayne Jr. Survived by children, Michele (Terry) Duffy, Steve (Liz), Sheila (Steve) Dwyer, Laurie (fiance Jason Severtson), Kristi (Matthew) Birt and Matthew (Jackie). Also survived by 16 grandchildren; brothers, Dennis (Jan) and Gordon (Yvonne); sister, Judith, and many nephews and nieces. Born in E. Grand Forks, ND, he grew up in St. Cloud, MN, attending Cathedral HS. He joined the Marine Corps in 1957 and spent the next 16 years serving his country. After his retirement from military service, he attained his lifelong dream of earning a bachelor's degree from Metro State University. He will be remembered for his creative energy and his many inventions, songs, games and poems. Mass of Christian Burial Thursday, 11 AM at Epiphany Catholic Church of Coon Rapids, 11001 Hanson Blvd NW. Visitation at the church one hour prior to the service.
