Jeannine CARRIER

PLYMOUTH -- Jeannine (Carrier) Monty, 85, of Carver died Wednesday, April 27, 2005, at Jordan Hospital. She was the widow of Omer Monty. Born in Keegan, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Willie and Annette (Saucier) Carrier. She lived in Carver 15 years. She attended Mount Merici College and Thomas College, both in Waterville, Maine. She was a hairdresser in New Bedford for 35 years. Mrs. Monty enjoyed sports and pets. Survivors include a son, Roger Monty, and his wife, Ruth, of Middleboro; a brother, Norman Carrier of New Hampshire; and three grandchildren. Her funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in New Bedford. Arrangements are by Shepherd Funeral Home, 116 Main St.
