Richard J. CHAMBERLAND

Richard J. Chamberland, 69, of Newington, died Monday, (February 7, 2005) at New Britain General Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Theresa (Cote) Chamberland. Born in St. Agathe, ME, Mr. Chamberland lived in Newington for the past 40 years and was a member of Church of the Holy Spirit, Newington. He was formerly employed by Hospital for Special Care, New Britain for the past 12 years. Besides his wife, he leaves his two sons, Alan J. Chamberland and his wife, Anna, of Bristol, Craig P. Chamberland and his wife, Sharon, of Cromwell; his daughter, Stacy A. Fox and her husband, Terrence, of Ellington; his six grandchildren, Michelle, Matthew, Steven, Nicole, Ryan and Alexandra; his two brothers and sisters-in-law, Edward and Cecile Chamberland, of Newington, Phillip and Rena Chamberland, of TN; his five sisters and brothers-in-law, Gladys and Melvin Cloukey, of New Britain, Jeannine and Norman Maagero, of MA, Aline Charette, of NH, Corinne and Valdrick Caron, of MA, Pauline and Gerry Plourde, of Plainville; several nieces and nephews. He was pre-deceased by Reid, Camille, and Elmer Chamberland. His funeral services will be held Saturday, 9:15 a.m. from the Newington Memorial Funeral Home, 20 Bonair Ave., Newington, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10:00 a.m. at Church of the Holy Spirit. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Relatives and friends are invited to call Friday from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Newington Memorial.
