FRANKLIN -- A Mass of Christian burial for Iva Elizabeth Robicheaux, 91, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at the Church of the Assumption with the Rev. Thomas Vu officiating. Interment will follow in Franklin Cemetery.Visiting hours will be observed today from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m. with a rosary being recited at 7 p.m. at Ibert's Mortuary. Visitation will resume Friday at 8 a.m. until the time of service.A native and lifelong resident of Franklin, Mrs. Robicheaux died at 9:45 p.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2005, at the Franklin Health Care Center.She is survived by her five sons, Robert Robicheaux and wife Berinda of Franklin, Stephen Robicheaux of Thibodaux, Ryan Robicheaux and wife Ruby of Brusly, Guy Robicheaux of Houma, and Michael Robicheaux and wife Carol of Lafayette; three daughters, Loretta Meaux of Abbeville, Audrey Carriere and husband Dale of Carencro, and Dolores Robicheaux of Franklin; 32 grandchildren, 38 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.Mrs. Robicheaux was preceded in death by her husband, Percy Robicheaux; two sons, Riley and Marshall Robicheaux; parents, Lee and Louise Pourtier Charpentier; three brothers, Percy, Clifford and Alvin Charpentier; a sister, Thelma Charpentier; a daughter-in-law, Dorothy Buteaux Robicheaux; and two grandsons, Joseph and Reginald.Ibert's Mortuary Inc. of Franklin is in charge of the arrangements.
