Nellie CHEPULIS

ALBANY, NY -- Nellie Germain, 92, died Wednesday, August 24, 2005. Born September 30, 1912 in Worcester, Mass. She was taken to Lithuania at the age of one and returned to the United States at age 15 to live with relatives. She worked for several companies, Burwick Bag Co., Newberry Knitting Co. and Union College. Mrs. Germain was the loving wife of the late Charles Germain. She is survived by her daughter, Rita G. (Roy) Calkins of Niskayuna; grandson, Charles Calkins of St. Louis, Mo. and several nieces. She was predeceased by her brother, Adam Chepulis and sister, Anna Drudis. Funeral services will be held in the Hans Funeral Home, 1088 Western Ave., Albany, Saturday morning at 8:15, and a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:00 in St. Catherine of Siena Church, Hurst Ave., Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may call at the funeral home Friday from 5-7 p.m. Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Rotterdam, N.Y.
