CARENCRO - Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 9, 2005, in Melancon Funeral Home in Carencro for Neal "T-Neg" Chiasson, 43, who passed away at 5:15 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 7, 2005, at his residence in Carencro.Interment will be in Evangeline Memorial Gardens in Carencro. The Rev. Craig Brown, brother-in-law to Mr. Chiasson, will officiate at the services. Mr. Chiasson was a native of Duson, La. and a resident of Carencro for the past 15 years. He had been employed at Daley Tower Service Inc. for over 15 years.Survivors include his wife of 25 years, the former Bertha Sue Leger, of Carencro; three sons, Tucker Chiasson, Tyler Chiasson and Trey Chiasson, all of Carencro; two grandchildren, Devin Chiasson and Alexis Chiasson; his father and step-mother, Wilson Chiasson and the former Gloria Lognion, of Cankton; one brother, Randal "Sweet" Chiasson, of Indian Bayou, La.; one sister, Pam C. Brown and her husband, Craig, of Mobile, Ala.; two half-brothers, Michael Chiasson, of Duson, and Paul Chiasson and his wife, Amy, of Lacassine, La.; and one half-sister, Roxanne Chiasson, of Cankton, La.He was preceded in death by his mother, the former Gloria Hargrave Chiasson.A rosary will be prayed at 7 p.m. this evening in the funeral home.Visitation will be observed from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. today and will continue from 8 a.m. Friday until service time.Pallbearers will be Randal Chiasson, Michael Chiasson, Paul Chiasson, Jeff Mims, Michael Touchet and Turney Duhon.Melancon Funeral Home of Carencro, 4615 N.
