Theresa Marie COMPAGNA

Theresa M. Comtois -- October 27, 1927 -- May 24, 2005 -- NORTH GROSVENORDALE --Theresa Marie (Compagna) Comtois, 77, passed away Tuesday May 24, 2005 in Webster Manor, Webster MA with her family by her side. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years Viateur Gerard Comtois. Born in Newmarket NH, she moved to Putnam CT as a young child. When she married Viateur April 3, 1948 they moved to N. Grosvenordale where she became a communicant of St. Joseph Church there. Theresa worked with Matson Mills in N. Grosvenordale as a Winder 19681984 and then worked as a Nurses' Aide in Webster Manor from 1985 until her retirement in 1995. Theresa enjoyed knitting, crocheting, and gardening but especially visiting with her family.Besides her husband Viateur, Theresa is survived by her two daughters Linda Nizamoff and her husband Victor of N. Grosvenordale, and Joann Corriveau and her husband William of Thompson; her brother Gerard Compagne and his wife Joan of Wickes AR and her sister Anita Menard of Thompson CT. She will also be greatly missed by her two grandsons Robert Goldsmith and Craig Corriveau. Theresa was predeceased by her son Gerard Comtois in 1978.The funeral will be from Valade Funeral Home, N. Grosvenordale on Friday at 9 AM with Mass of Christian Burial in St. Joseph Church at 10 AM, followed by burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. Calling hours are TODAY (Thursday) 57 PM.
