LAFAYETTE - Funeral services will be held at a 2 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial, Tuesday, Jan. 4, 2005, in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Sadie Ann Connolly LeBlanc, 95, who died Saturday, Jan. 1, 2005.The Rev. Monsignor Glen Provost, pastor of Our Lady of Fatima Church, will be celebrant of the Mass and conduct the funeral services. Musical selections will be performed by Katherine Baudoin her great-granddaughter and the Eulogy will be given by her grandson, Brian Baudoin Jr.Interment will take place in Lafayette Memorial Park.Mrs. Leblanc, a native of Opelousas, was the daughter of the late Roger Connolly and the former Cecile Bacque.Survivors include her daughters, Louise Baudoin and husband, Brian, and Mary Elizabeth "Liz" Stoma, all of Lafayette; her sister, Mable Melancon, of Lafayette; grandchildren, Anna Louise Lane, Louis Baudoin, Brian Baudoin Jr., Aldon Baudoin, David Baudoin, Josette Comeaux, Michelle Aranza, Angela Cortez and Phil Stoma Jr.; and 24 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Louis LeBlanc; son-in-law, Phil Stoma Sr.; three brothers, Michael, Milton and Pete Connolly; and one sister, Bernadette Deshotel.Pallbearers will be Phil Stoma Jr., Louis Baudoin, Aldon Baudoin, Page Cortez, Jacob Aranza and David Baudoin.Honorary pallbearer will be Nick Lane, Greg Comeaux and Roger Connolly.The family requests visiting hours be observed from 4 p.m. until 9 p.m. today and will continue from 9 a.m. Tuesday until time of services at 2 p.m.A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. tonight in the funeral home by Sr. Laura Melancon.Delhomme Funeral Home, 1011 Bertrand Drive, is in charge of the arrangements.
