Martha S. CRESSEY

SOMERSWORTH — Martha S. LaRock, 71, of 28 Franklin St. died Thursday, Dec. 30, 2004, at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital following a period of failing health.Born Dec. 27, 1933, in Wolfeboro, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Clarissa (Wallingford) Cressey. She had worked as a molder for Hubbard Shoe, Algor Shoe, Farmington Shoe and Roberts Shoe. She had attended the Community Baptist Church in Milton.Members of her family include her children, Arthur LaRock of South Lebanon, Maine, Velzora (Sue) Wiggin of Rochester, Doris LaRock of Somersworth and Dorothy Jowette of Sanford, Maine; three grandchildren, Irene Tripp, Arthur Wiggin Jr. and Robert Jowette III and five great-grandchildren.Her husband, Charles LaRock, predeceased her in 1997.Family and friends may call Tuesday, Jan. 4, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the R.M. Edgerly and Son Funeral Home 86 S. Main St. Rochester. A graveside service will be held in the spring.
