DAIGLE, LINWOOD JAMES "STOVEPIPE" A retired painter with the state of Louisiana at the Bayou Road State Yard in Plaquemine, he died at 7 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 23, 2005, at Plaquemine Manor Nursing Home. He was 76, a U.S. Air Force veteran and a resident and a native of Plaquemine. Visiting was at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Monday. Visiting at the funeral home from 8 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, until funeral service at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Cleo Milano. Interment in Grace Memorial Park, Plaquemine. He is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Connie Daigle Lake and James David Lake; two sons and daughters-in-law, Linwood "Bubba" and Carolyn Henson Daigle and Michael and Jody Brown Daigle, all of Plaquemine; two stepdaughters, Vicki Knoll, Texas, and Sherri Knoll, Baton Rouge; six grandchildren, eight stepgrandchildren, two great-grandchildren, two sisters and a brother-in-law, Anna Mae Daigle Emerson, Ohio, and Dorothy "Dot" Daigle Canova and Leo, Plaquemine; and a brother and sister-in-law, Henry Joseph and JoAnn Daigle, Plaquemine. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Marie Blanchard Daigle; parents, Leonard "Red" and Evelyn Albarez Daigle; a brother, Elliot Daigle Sr.; and a sister, Mildred Daigle Marino.
