William Joseph DESLONGCHAMPS

William J. Deslongchamps -- September 10, 1922 - December 3, 2005 -- PUTNAM - William Joseph Deslongchamps, 83, passed away at home Saturday December 3, 2005 with his family by his side. He is survived by his loving wife of 62 years Doris Rose (Viens) Deslongchamps of Putnam. Born in Lynn, MA.. William moved to Putnam as a child and has lived here all his life. He worked as a Press Operator with US Button and was a communicant of St. Mary of the Visitation Church. He loved gardening and doing repairs around the house.Besides his wife Doris, William is survived by a son Paul Deslongchamps of Putnam and his two brothers Ronald and Roger Coulombe, both of Chicopee, MA. He was predeceased by a son Robert Deslongchamps and his daughter Irene Nadeau. William will also be missed by his many grandchildren and greatgrandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. The family would also like to thank Hospice of Northeastern CT for all their care and support. A Funeral Service will be held in Gilman Funeral Home, 104 Church St., Putnam on Thursday at 10AM., followed by a burial in St. Mary Cemetery.
