Wayne M. DIONNE

SOUTHINGTON - Wayne M. Dionne Sr., 45, of Queen Terrace, and formerly of Thomaston, died Wednesday, March 16, 2005, at home after a brief illness. He was the husband of Laurie Devenow Dionne.Mr. Dionne was born in Lincoln, Maine, March 23, 1959, son of Joseph Martin Dionne and his companion, Julie Pierre of Van Buren, Maine, and Shirley Saucier Bennett and her husband, Lenny Bennett of Torrington. He was a mechanic working for Yankee Gas in Meriden for 13 years, a member of the Bristol Fish and Game Club and the NRA and member of the Army National Guard.In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by a son, Wayne M. Dionne Jr., and daughter, Shannon Dionne, both of Southington; two brothers, Galen Dionne of Watertown and Marty Dionne Jr. of Thomaston; two sisters, Deborah Root of Harwinton and Sherrie Black of New Hartford.The funeral will be held Monday, March 21, at 11 a.m. in Lyons Funeral Home, 46 High St., Thomaston. There will be no calling hours. Spring burial in Hillside Cemetery, Terryville.
