Services for Mrs. Dean J. Comeaux Sr., the former Evelyn Dore, 56, were conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2005 at David Funeral Home Chapel with the Brother Ryan Derouen officiating.Visiting hours were obseved Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2005 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at David Funeral Home.A native of Iberia Parish and a resident of New Iberia, Mrs. Comeaux died at 5:58 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 17, 2005, at Dauterive Hospital.Mrs. Comeaux loved going to the casino, fishing and bingo.She is survived by her husband, Dean J. Comeaux Sr.; two sons, Dean J. Comeaux Jr. both of New Iberia and Christopher Comeaux of Broussard; two daughters, Loretta C. Casco and Rachel Comeaux; a sister, Barbara Dore all of New Iberia; and 10 grandchildren.Mrs. Comeaux was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Eugenie Gary Dore; and two brothers, Eugene P. “Snooky” and Clifton Dore.Pallbearers were Louis Fontenette Jr., Kevin Charpentier, Kevin Singleton, Lee Trahan, Craig Boutte and Eddie Champaign.David Funeral Home - North, Trotter Street, was in charge of the arrangements.
