Harriet DOUGHTY

LUDLOW - Harriet Doughty Marszalek Hebert, 88, of Ludlow, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday February 28, 2005 surrounded by her children. Born in Keysville, NY and a Ludlow resident for most of her life, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Grace (Doner) Doughty. Harriet will be remembered by her family and friends as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and loyal friend. Her spirit will live on in those members of her family she leaves behind. She is survived by her daughters, Barbara Cox and her husband Rex of Mt. Washington, KY; Sandra Westphal and her husband Kenneth of Beaverton, MI; Patricia Markiewicz and her husband Robert of Agawam; Linda Bowers and her husband Robert of Agawam; her sons, Stephen Marszalek and his wife Lynn of Wilbraham; Michael Marszalek and his wife Dawna of Providence, RI; (11) grandchildren; (14) great grandchildren and (4) great great grandchildren. Harriet also leaves her loving sisters, Mildred Ollari, Ann Folger and Thelma Costa all of Ludlow; Helen Barsh of Springfield; Marie Bleam of Tylersport, PA; Caroline Johnson of Hanford, CA and many nieces and nephews Harriet was predeceased by her first husband, Stephen Marszalek; her second husband, Ernest Hebert; a daughter; Joyce Marszalek and by her siblings, Lucille Grochmal; Frances Plant and Robert Doughty. She will be missed by all of us but never forgotten. She will be forever in our hearts and her love will be with us always. Harriet's funeral will be Wednesday morning in the Ratell Funeral Home 200 Main St., Indian Orchard at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Aloysius Cemetery, Indian Orchard.
