DuBois, Jeanne Mary - Age 84 Of Arden Hills Her joy in life will be missed by all, especially her 3 sons, Dr. George L. Beedle, Houston, TX, James Beedle, also of Houston, TX and John Beedle of St. Paul, MN. The only daughter of Gene and Mary DuBois, Jeanne grew up in Minneapolis and graduated from West High School. She attended the University of Minnesota and graduated from the school of Dental Hygiene in 1941. She was given honors and received the Louise C. Ball Award. She was chosen by Dr. Charles Mayo II to design a new dental program for the Rochester school system which emphasized preventive dental care. Beginning 1945, she touched many hearts while working in the Mpls Public Schools and later the St. Paul Health Center. She won a U.S. Public Health Services scholarship for two years at the University of Minnesota. She wrote her honors paper on dental sealants and graduated cum laude. She was a National Trustee serving the 7th District which included Minnesota, Wisconsin, North and South Dakota. She was a past President of the Minneosta Dental Hygienists Association. In 1975, she became Minnesota Director of Dental Hygiene. She was generous, kind and giving of herself and had a wonderful sense of humor. We were all truly blessed to have shared in her life.
