Sandra Gail Barker (née Wright) April 27, 1953 - November 21, 2004 It is with sadness that the family announces the passing of Sandra Barker on Sunday, November 21, 2004 at the St. Boniface Hospital at the age of 51 years. She will be greatly missed by her loving husband Kenneth Darrell Barker and her son Christopher Allan Paradis, as well as her brother Ronald Wright, her sister Patricia Wuirch and husband Robert, and many family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Harold and Joyce Wright. Sandra was born on April 27, 1953 and grew up in the St. Vital area. She was also a valued employee of Darcy & Deacon Lawfirm where she’ll be deeply missed. Sandra very much enjoyed visiting her friends for coffee, going to the lake, reading, organizing things and mostly spending time with loved ones. She was always trying to help out others in need. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, and a friend to many people. We would like to thank the Doctors, Nurses, and Clergy at St. Boniface Hospital, as well as the Paramedics and the Fire Department for their help and kindness. A celebration of Sandra’s life will be held on Friday, November 26, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. at Green Acres Funeral Home, Hwy. #1 E. at Navin Rd. Interment will follow in Green Acres Cemetery.
