Dolores Rita Dugas Blanda, on Friday, April 15, 2005 at her residence in Algiers, LA. Age 80 years. Devoted and beloved wife of 56 years to Nicholas ""Nick'' Blanda. Daughter of the late Emile Arthur Dugas and the late Leona Cheramie Dugas. Loving mother of Priscilla Blanda Scoriels. Mother-in-law of Leon L. Scoriels. Grandmother of Nicole Scoriels Loop and her husband, Jeff M. Loop. Sister of the late Woodrow Dugas, Eugene ""U.J.'' Dugas, Audrey Dugas Ledet, Jane Dugas Lodriguess and Winnie Blanda Cheramie. Sister-in-law of Lena B. Delaune, Rosemary B. Arcement, Rosalie Blanda, Johnny Blanda, and Joseph Blanda, Jr. Beloved God-Mother of Donna Vegas Stall. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. Special thanks to devoted sister-in-law, Rosemary B. Arcement and family and also special thanks to Trinity Hospice, Susan Adamson, RN, and Shannon Simmons, LPN. Interment will follow in McDonogh Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
