ARNAUDVILLE - Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, 2005, at St. Catherine Catholic Church in Arnaudville for Marie Etienne Savoie, 47, who died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2005, at Earl K. Long Hospital in Baton Rouge.Interment will be in St. Charles Cemetery in Grand Coteau.Survivors include her husband, Felton Savoie, of Arnaudville; her son, Joseph Bradley Brown, of Arnaudville; her daughter, Jessica Brown, of Grand Coteau; six brothers, Wilson and Hilton Etienne, both of Port Barre, Leroy, Bruce and Joseph Ignatius Etienne, all of Arnaudville, and Clarence Etienne, of Cecilia; three sisters, Mary Sedonia Etienne, of Cecilia, Mary Celina Brown, of Arnaudville, and Brenda Etienne, of Port Barre; six grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.She was preceded in death by her parents, Dennis Sennette and Julia Etienne; her son, Leonard Brown Jr.; her sister, Eve Mae Etienne; and her nephew, Anthony Etienne.The family requested that visiting hours be observed from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. today and will continue from 7 a.m. Saturday until time of service.A rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. this evening.Pallbearers will be Joseph Ignatius Etienne, Robert Etienne, Leroy Joseph Etienne, Joseph Derrick Etienne, Rufus Paul Robert and Clifton Comeaux.Honorary pallbearers will be Joseph Davis, Johnathon Sam, Joshua Cormier, Clarence Etienne, Joseph Junius Etienne and Clyde Broussard.Pellerin Funeral Home of Arnaudville is in charge of arrangements.
