Richard "Rick" Morin September 26, 1955 - November 22, 2004 Funeral arrangements by Melady Funeral Home & Chapel 49 years. It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Richard who lost his valiant battle with cancer on November 22, 2004. He died peacefully surrounded by his family. Husband and friend of Lori Voutt-Morin, loving and devoted father of Eric. Beloved son of René and Harriette Morin. Dear brother of Lise Desjardins, Ron, Fran and Howard Green, Nicole Laporte and Marc, Mike Morin, Marcel Morin and Amber, Anne Morin and friend Chris Meloche. Dear Uncle of Jessica, Steven, Joshua, Caroline, Jacqueline, Daniel, Katherine, and Jacob. He will be sadly missed by his in-laws Ethan and Jackie Voutt, sister-in-law Mary Voutt-Goos and Henry. Rick was a custodian for the G.E.C.D.S.B for 24 years. Mr. Rick will be greatly missed by the staff and students at Puce Public and D.M. Eagle schools (now who will get their balls off the roof?). Rick was an avid Montreal fan and we can be sure a fan club will be started in Heaven. Visiting Tuesday, November 23, 2004 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9. Funeral service Wednesday, November 24, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Melady Funeral Home, 572 Notre Dame, Belle River, 728-1500. Interment St. Simon & St. Jude Cemetery. In kindness donations may be to the Hospice of Windsor or the V.O.N. A tree will be planted in memory of Richard Morin in the Melady Heritage Forest. A dedication will be held September 25, 2005.
