Harriet Isobel SCHMIDT

SCHWARTZ, Harriet Isobel (nee Schmidt). 1905-2004. Died peacefully in her sleep on November 22, 2004 at Chambly, QC in her one hundredth year. Born in Rockingham, NS, daughter of the late Conrad Thomson Schmidt and Catherine (Brunton) Schmidt. Predeceased by her beloved husband J.A.E. (Dick) Schwartz and her sister Mary (DeWolf) Morse of Cape Cod, MA. Lovingly remembered by her seven DeWolf great-nieces and -nephews and their families; the Schwartz family; her devoted caregivers in Chambly; and friends from Isobel and Dick's long life, well-lived, in New York City, Ottawa and Chambly. As Isobel wished, there will be no funeral. A gathering for family and friends will be arranged at a later date for Isobel's interment beside Dick in Halifax, where they danced as teenagers at the Waegwoltic Club so many years ago.
