Annette J. GAUTHIER

WARE -- Annette J. (Gauthier) Ciejka, 86, "one of the Lord’s most gentle creatures", formerly of Aspen St., died Sunday, in West Brookfield. She was the wife of the late Walter Ciejka, who passed away in 1991. She leaves her son, Ronald Ciejka of East Brookfield; her daughter, Suzanne Durand of Gilbertville; her sister, Jeanne Beauchamp of Spencer; 3 grandchildren, Peter Ciejka, Michael Ciejka and Nicole Durand; 5 great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. She was born in Ware, daughter of Henry and Alma (Leblanc) Gauthier. She worked as a seamstress at the former Seven Sisters Dress Shop in Ware, retiring in 1976. She will be remembered for her compassion, patience, and willingness to help. She was a communicant of All Saints Church and was a member of the Daughters of Isabella. Among her many activities, she particularly enjoyed sewing, home carpentry projects, gardening and playing solitaire. Funeral services will be held on Thursday from the Charbonneau Funeral Home, 30 Pleasant St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in All Saints Church, North St. Burial will be in New St. William Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
