Barbara Gayle Gendron Hymel died on Wednesday, May 11, 2005 at 10:30 AM in Vacherie. Age 71. Mother of Mary Lynne H. Chabaud (Gene), Daniel J. Hymel (Darla), Susan H. Condon (Richard), Danielle H. Dubreuil (Brian) and Edward P. Hymel (Patti). Sister of Carlyn Rome, Wanda ""Pie'' Caire, Marcia Gaudet, C. P. Gendron, Jr. and Ray Gendron. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, Alise C. Hagan, Monique Chabaud, Danielle Chabaud, Lance Hymel, Layne Hymel, Ryan Condon, Kristi Condon, Matthew Dubreuil, Michael Dubreuil, Katie Hymel, Stephanie Hymel and Lee Hymel. A native of Edgard, LA. and a resident of Vacherie, LA. Preceded in death by husband, Lynn G. Hymel; infant son, Gerard P. Hymel; parents, Clifford and Elma Gendron; and sisters, Vida Jude Gendron and Glenda Gendron. Visitation at St. Philip Catholic Church, Vacherie, LA from 9:00AM to 12:00 noon on Saturday, May 14, 2005. Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 noon on Saturday, May 14, 2005 at St. Philip Catholic Church. Interment in St. Philip Mausoleum.
