Elaine GIBEAULT

Mrs. Adam (Elaine) Meyer, 86, a loving wife, mother and grandmother, died Friday, April 29, 2005, after a long illness. She was born July 12, 1918, in Pound, Wis., to the late Emil and Adline (Woulf) Gibeault. Elaine married Adam Meyer Aug. 2, 1941; he preceded her in death Aug. 5, 1984. She was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church and was very active in making rosaries for the missions, a senior V.I.P. member of St. Mary’s Mary Guild, and a volunteer for the Red Cross and St. Vincent De Paul. Elaine loved square dancing. She and her husband, Adam, belonged to the Westerners Square Dance Club and the Happy Pairs Round Dance Club. Her favorite pastime was making quilts for the Mary Guild and her family and friends.Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, John and Elizabeth Meyer, Green Bay; one grandson, Jody Meyer, Oconto Falls; four step-grandchildren, Debbie, Patti (Santos), Rhonda (Aaron), and Rick (Mary) Simac; three great-step-grandchildren, Jason, Brandon and Danielle; two sisters, Thelma Rauen and Anna Lee Lappen, both of Milwaukee; three sisters-in-law; one brother-in-law; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Vernon and Ronald Gibeault.Friends may call after 5 p.m. Monday, May 2, at Lyndahl Funeral Home and Cremation Services where the funeral service will take place at 7 p.m. with Deacon Bob Nooker officiating. Entombment will be at Allouez Catholic Mausoleum.
